These in-demand professions are helping governments and industry respond to the challenges of today’s technically complex workplace. Students will learn to troubleshoot networking and security issues within operating systems, and building, managing, and protecting data networks.

 

We provide a subscription for CompTia TestOut at no cost to students. TestOut’s full feature learning platform, LabSim, enables students to access a broad range of hands-on learning content that builds “career-ready IT skills” while providing educators with the tools they need to help these students succeed.

American National University is a Microsoft Learn member, giving our students access to industry-standard curricula, certifications, and a wide variety of resources.

AWS aids higher education institutions in bringing software developers up to the industry-standard in an evolving technological business environment, increasing their competitiveness in the modern job market. We have incorporated industry-standard cloud computing into the program through membership in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Academy.

 

Join a Growing Career Field

IT professions are growing quickly. Network engineer positions are expected to grow 3% through 2031 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics*. Computer Support Specialist positions are expected to grow 6% through 2031 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics*. Computer Network Architect positions are expected to grow 4% through 2031 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics*.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Our Financial Services Team will sit down with prospective students to identify sources of financial assistance; some through the federal or state government and others through the University. We are committed to finding solutions for those who qualify.

 

Transfer Credits

We accept undergraduate transfer credits for your prior learning and professional, military, and volunteer experience. An undergraduate student must complete the last 25% of a degree program at ANU in order to graduate. That means you can transfer in up to 72 quarter credit hours can be transferred for an Associate’s degree or up to 132 quarter credit hours for a Bachelor’s degree.
