For a variety of professions, a legal education is a pathway for advancement. To be a paralegal would allow you to step into a growing career field. ANU’s Paralegal programs help our students learn to conduct research, apply legal terminology, and interpret various categories of law. American National University’s online Paralegal programs were designed with input from working professionals in the legal industry. Our Paralegal courses focus on relevant legal subjects, such as real estate, bankruptcy, immigration, and tort law. You will also develop an understanding of how to use industry-standard legal research tools. Additionally, you will earn skills in understanding legal terminology and drafting legal documents.

Join a Growing Career Field

Legal professions are growing quickly. Paralegals and legal assistants are projected to grow 14% through 2031 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics*.

What our Students Say

“Every professor I’ve had has done a really great job of preparing us for the future. I didn’t know some of the jobs a paralegal could get – and they introduced that to me, that there are so many different ways that I can apply my education that I’m getting from ANU. And I think that’s amazing!”
